Over the last 15 years, I have led growth initiatives at companies in consumer electronics, wireless products & services, and mobile technology. At Dell, I built a $1.2 billion consumer electronics & software division into a key growth engine for the company. In building e-commerce leader Monoprice's marketing organization to drive double-digit growth in traffic, revenue and profit, I utilized state-of-the art tools, techniques and analytics to carry out the strategy.
Strategic
At national wireless provider Helio (now Virgin Mobile), I helped lead the launch of the Ocean, the company’s flagship branded smartphone. At mobile marketing technology start-up Cenoplex, my analytical approach and bias for action made an immediate and positive impression on the company’s founders and CEO. This past year, I played an active role in assisting Monoprice's CEO to sell the company to strategic buyer Blucora, Inc. for $180 million. This was possible due to the uniquely diverse set of skills I possess -strong business acumen, knowing the key marketing drivers to grow the business, and a familiarity with the M&A process from my early career as an investment banker.

I consider myself an authentic and natural leader, and a builder of cohesive, high-performing teams. I get along with almost everyone while still maintaining a sense of respect and accountability. Most importantly, I stay steady, calm, and focused during intense and stressful situations so that objectives get met. I also enjoy meeting new people and networking as it is always a learning experience as well as fun. Additionally, I value getting the chance to mentor colleagues however I can.
I want to play an active role on a high-performing executive team - usually in a strategic marketing or business development capacity. However, I can also make myself available for selective consulting projects in a number of areas such as marketing, strategy, business development, operational improvement, and organizational structure.
